Get the embed code.
Paste this into any page that accepts HTML.
<div style="max-width:760px">
<iframe src="https://www.hotlyne.app/embed/cleaning-price-calculator" width="100%" height="1400" style="border:0;width:100%" loading="lazy" title="House cleaning price calculator"></iframe>
<a href="https://www.hotlyne.app/tools/cleaning-price-calculator" style="display:block;padding:6px 0;font-family:system-ui,sans-serif;font-size:12px;color:#9ca3af;text-align:center;text-decoration:none">Powered by Hotlyne</a>
</div>The height is tuned to the current calculator at the default 760px width. If the frame's content ever looks clipped, bump the height number — fixed-height iframes don't grow on their own.
Where to paste the code.
Every major page builder has an HTML or embed element. Here is where the snippet goes in each one.
WordPress
Add a Custom HTML block to any page or post, paste the code, publish.
Squarespace
Add a Code block to the page, paste the code, save. Works on any plan.
Wix
Add the "Embed a Widget" / "Embed HTML" element, paste the code, stretch to fit.
GoDaddy / Weebly
Add a Custom HTML (Embed Code) section to the page and paste the code.
Any website
The snippet is a plain iframe. If your builder accepts HTML, it works.
What your visitors get.
The full house cleaning price calculator, running on your site.
Price estimates with the math shown.
Estimates for deep cleans, maintenance cleans, and move-outs, including the hours behind each price.
Tuned to their market.
Defaults adjust across 20 U.S. metros, anchored on BLS wage data, so a visitor in Seattle and one in Detroit see different numbers.
Works on phones.
Most cleaning price searches happen on phones. The widget is built for a 760px column and scales down from there.
No maintenance.
We host the calculator and update the pricing model. Your embedded copy picks up the new math automatically.
Embedding questions.
Common questions about adding the calculator to a website.
- Does the calculator work on WordPress?
Yes. In the WordPress editor, add a "Custom HTML" block, paste the embed code, and preview the page. This works on self-hosted WordPress and on WordPress.com plans that include the Custom HTML block.
- Does it work on Squarespace, Wix, and GoDaddy?
Yes. On Squarespace, add a Code block and paste it in. On Wix, use the "Embed a Widget" / "Embed HTML" element. On GoDaddy Websites + Marketing or Weebly, use the Custom HTML / Embed Code section. Any builder that accepts raw HTML or an iframe will work.
- Will it slow down my website?
No. The embed code includes loading="lazy", so the iframe only fetches once a visitor scrolls near it. Your page renders first; the calculator loads after.
- Can I embed it in a blog post or a pricing page?
Yes. The snippet is a plain iframe, so you can paste it into posts, pages, sidebars, or landing pages. It works well under an article that answers a pricing question, since visitors can check their own price without leaving.
- Who keeps the rates and math current?
Hotlyne does. The calculator runs on our side, so when we update the pricing model or the metro rate data, every embedded copy updates automatically. You do not need to change anything.
- Can I change the size of the embed?
Yes. The snippet wraps the calculator in a max-width: 760px container; change that number or the height attribute to fit your layout. If the calculator ever looks cut off, increase the height. Fixed-height iframes do not grow on their own.
